Took the day off yesterday to be a chaperone for a first grade field trip to the zoo. Had a good time with son number 3, his classmates, teachers, and other parents. Caught a ride home with a friend though, because I didn’t think I could handle the bus ride home.
On Sunday we finished up “The Journey to Wholeness in Christ” series even though I know that many of you are still reading and interacting with the book. Please continue to read and engage in the book if you have not yet finished reading and feel free to connect with me or someone else if you have comments or questions.
I have been feeling very tired lately with the possibility of reasons why being linked to the heat or trying to cram too much into a 24 hour day. This morning as I was doing a prayer drive around Homedale I was reminded of the Scripture in Matthew 11:28-30 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” Perhaps some of you could be reminded of the truth of this Scripture today as well.
