3.9.16 ~ Social Media

I apologize to those of you who are unable to view the posts on our group facebook page (HFCC). I am checking to see if there is anything I can do from my end, and if you could do the same from yours that would be great.

The inter-webs, and social media outlets offer us an opportunity to use technology to advance the Gospel Message, and the Kingdom of God.  If used properly, these things can be useful tools for us to use.  This is my intent.  We also can’t let these forms of communication take away from our meeting together face to face and spending real time with one another.

As a community of Christ followers it is especially important that we “don’t give up meeting together as some are in the habit of doing.”  I’m going to make a plug for worship on Sunday mornings, but we can also be encouraged to touch base with one another during the week as well.  Coffee shop conversations, small groups, visiting at sporting events, volunteering together at an event, or simply talking to each other on the phone.

Worship on Sunday mornings has been really good lately, and I want to encourage all of you who happen to be reading this to come and participate in worship with us on Sunday mornings.  Come and be a part, and experience what God is doing among us.

Have a great Wednesday!
